Blue Shirt Khaki Pants – It’s a Thing – Aditi R.

Aditi is a student in my IB Math Analysis class this year, but that doesn’t stop her from visiting my classroom before school, during lunch, and during other IB classes. She is always a welcome guest because her humor is less calculated and more whimsical than mine, and thus, always brings a smile to my face.

She is a member of an IB class of seniors who are now susceptible to senioritis, which attacks the graduating class at about this time every year. And while many of my students have succumbed to senioritis, she has persevered, mainly because her attitude towards education has always been balanced and free of worry and anxiety.

I know that I only have a few short months of time with Aditi in my class before she graduates, as will my other precious students. I will miss her and my other seniors once May rolls around, and I will treasure the time we spent together this year.
